DMX is an American artist, songwriter, and actor. He started rapping around the turn of the century. His debut album was released on May 19, 1998. The other albums he released were... and there was x. The Great Depression Year of the Dog... again Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ, Flesh of Flesh Blood of Blood. His album... And There was X won a Grammy prize in 2001 for the Best Rap Album. The success of his music was further enhanced by his appearances in such movies as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five - Exit Wounded, Never Die Alone - The Bleeding Romeo MUST Die Backstage - Beyond the Law Lockjaw - Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
